For many disparate economic reasons, I oppose the strikes. However, pointing out the inherent greed and willful misunderstanding behind the actions won’t persuade everybody - certainly not those who seek to benefit. Therefore, a proposal: raises upon better performance. Currently, riding the National Rail is nothing short of a gamble. I’m wondering how long the delay will be rather than if there will be one. Promise compensation for improvement, and perhaps the necessary rise in ticket prices won’t hurt so much.
