This theory was not easy to understand. What helped was imagining an electron in a superposition of spinning both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Once observed, there is branching with one scenario where you have the observer and the clockwise spinning electron and a simultaneous alternative one with the observer and the counter-clockwise spinning electron.
