The Curious In was a skilful translation of the superb book to the stage: cleverly done with the well-timed breaking of the fourth wall. The acting of all but one of the cast was top-quality. I had not expected such exciting lighting, stage technology, and sound to create an immersive experience. It was eye-opening to glimpse an autistic child’s traversal in a world not made for him and how the world confronts someone so different.
