I see a parallel between the expectation that
- ‘white’ people should fix the problems for ‘black’ people they supposedly caused,
and,
- tech should fix the problems for society that it has caused

Perhaps looking to those who created the problem for the solution is not time well spent. In the former case, the offenders are no longer alive. In the latter, they’re clueless. Regarding misinformation on social media, we would benefit from better educating the population in epistemology.

“How do I obtain it?”
“Do I ever have it?”
