There are various strong arguments against the idea that gender is a “social construct”. Great books have been written on the topic.
Here’s a couple:
- Male monkeys are more interested in “boy toys” than are female monkeys.
- Human girls subjected to higher levels of pre-natal testosterone are more interested in “boy toys” than other girls.
- In Dominican Republic there are boys born with what look exactly like female genitals because they are immune to a certain kind of testosterone. During puberty, at about 12 years old, they develop testicles and a penis and despite having grown up as girls with girl names the majority still go on to be heterosexual men.
