If you’re using the Terminal on a Mac you’ll now be using the shell zsh.
Do yourself a favour and install Oh My Zsh. It will make everything easier; autocompletion, syntax highlighting, command-line git support.
I’ve been using it for so long I forgot that other people don’t know about it.
