Spaced Repetition

This is an evidence-based learning technique usually employing the use of flash-cards It exploits the psychological spacing effect by presenting a person with difficult or newer cards more frequently than those found to be easier or older.
The technique can be applied generally to learning, but is most often used when the learning of many different things is required and the information should be retained indefinitely.
