Definitions in Meta-ethics
- Realism: The belief that there are real, objective answers to the morality of an action.
- Constructivism: The belief that morals and ethics are constructed and agreed upon.
- Relativism: The belief that morality is context dependant and one agent cannot accurately assess the morality of another.
- Consequentialism: The belief that it is the consequences of an action which define its morality.
- Deontology: The belief that there are rules which define what actions are moral or immoral.
- Pluralism: The belief that there needn’t be a single correct answer.
