I’m resistant to adopting the identity of “conservative”, but in honesty many of my instincts align with those of conservatism. That being said I greatly weight the role of experimental progressive policies as crucial to moving society forward. Their conversation was thought-provoking, but achieved this while also being entertaining and, at points, hilarious. It helps that they discussed some of the values I hold most dear; humility, charitability, hesitance, meaning, appreciation, and honesty.
