While listening to Kmele Foster I learned that more slaves were shipped from Africa to South America than to the United States, and yet while Brazil were responsible for the slavery of more Africans their economy clearly did not benefit in the same way.
This serves as an argument against the notion that the US was built solely upon the disgusting use of humans as slaves.
