This book is well-written, well-researched, and structured masterfully.
Most people ackowledge the misguided social justice movements on campuses through the US and UK to be a problem. The same is true of the increased polarisation in politics seen all across the West. Yet another issue facing us is that of the markedly increased rates of anxiety and depression in “iGen” or “Gen Z”.
It is this book; moreso than the tens of hours I’ve spent listening to podcasts, watching interviews, and reading articles on the subject; that left me with a strong sense of the multi-factorial explanatory threads behind these concerns.
I cannot recommend it more higly; Jonathan Haidt and Greg Lukianoff have done such an amazing job.
