The description that made the most sense of this theory for me was imagining an electron in a superposition of spinning both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Once observed there is a branching with once scenario where you have the observer and the clockwise spinning electron, and a simultaneous alternative scenario with the observer and the counter-clockwise spinning electron on the other.
