Meditations and Learnings

Joe Rogan Experience - #1203: Eric Weinstein

They started by talking about the benefits of vice signalling in contrast to the ills of virtue signalling. In discussing the Malibu fires they then discussed the importance of adversity for self-development and the formation of relationships. Eric said that humans are the only animal that compete in team formations.

They delved into the world of physics and mathematics and it has been a while since I last felt as stupid as when I was watching the Hopf fibration at a complete loss as to what it even was, let alone why it is one of the most important discoveries.

As they discussed sea creatures like cuttlefish and a giant multi-organism worm there seems as though the only conclusion to be drawn is that they is aliens.

It was the last portion of the podcast that was the most interesting because they talked about the “International Dork Web”, the need for conversation, the difference between new media and old media, and how we can actually tackle the “social justice” mindset.
