- constitute 85% of homeless people
- are the victims of 75% of homicides
- are the victims of 40% of domestic abuse
- serve 64% longer prison sentences
- are 92% of deaths in the workplace
- are 3.4x more likely than a woman to be imprisoned for the same crime
- have historically suffered as the tools with which horrific wars have been fought
